KARACHI — The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has strongly condemned the derogatory language used by the Minister for Education in Sindh towards doctors.

In a recent statement, the Minister for Education in Sindh made disparaging remarks about the medical community, showing a lack of respect towards the dedication and hard work of doctors in the country.

The PMA finds such language unacceptable and disrespectful towards the healthcare professionals who are at the forefront of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

President-Elect of the PMA Sindh expressed outrage at the comments made by the Minister and called for an immediate apology and retraction of the derogatory remarks. “Doctors and healthcare workers have been working tirelessly to save lives and provide care to those in need, and they deserve to be treated with respect and appreciation.

The PMA urges the Minister for Education in Sindh to refrain from making such derogatory comments in the future and to show respect towards the medical community. The PMA also calls on the authorities to ensure that healthcare professionals are valued and supported in their efforts to combat the pandemic.
