Pak Army, Punjab Rangers to be Deployed for Asia Cup 2023 Security

LAHORE MIRROR – The Federal Cabinet approved the deployment of the Pakistan Army and Punjab Rangers to ensure comprehensive security during the upcoming Asia Cup 2023, as reported by TV channels.

It has been stated that the request for army and Ranger’s deployment was made by the Punjab caretaker government.

A formal proposal was subsequently submitted by the Ministry of Interior, and the cabinet has now given its consent through a circulation process.
