Orange Line Train: PRA Serves Show Cause to Habib Construction For Defaulting Rs6.8 Billion

The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has issued show cause notice to Habib Construction Services (Pvt) Ltd for defaulting to nonpayment of the Punjab Sales Tax on Services in respect to Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Package-1. 

According to a press release issued today, taxpayer M/s Habib Construction Services (Pvt) Ltd failed to discharge its obligation under the Punjab Sales Tax on Services Act, 2012 and was given seven days to reply.

Upon an unsatisfactory reply, the taxpayer shall be bound to deposit tax amount of Rs6.8 billion including penalty.— PRESS RELEASE
