NAB Lahore Asks Shehbaz Sharif To Record Statement In Person On June 2
-- The ex-chief minister Punjab is facing charges of having assets beyond means and alleged money laundering
LAHORE– The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has been probing assets beyond means and alleged money laundering case against former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif on fast track and to bring the same into logical conclusion the bureau has called Mian shahbaz Sharif, in person, on June 2, 2020 to record his statement.
For the reason and as per standard operating procudure (SoP) of the Bureau, Mian Shahbaz Sharif had been provided with a detailed questionnare during his last show-up in NAB Lahore. It has also been clarified by NAB that Mr Sharif was given sufficient time as per his will to collect all required details from abroad.
During the course of time, the NAB Lahore has completed sufficient precautionary measures keeping in view the pandemic spread which include proper social distancing, provision of hand sanitizers, wearing of facial masks and last but not the least erection of Glass Wall on centre table between CIT and SS’s chair which would split the CIT and SS thoroughly into safe distance (as shown in provided pics).
It’s also exemplified by the Regional Bureau that all Interview Rooms are being dis-infected on daily basis so all CITs and the appearing individuals may get protected from any probable harmful infection.
NAB is the prime and honoured anti-corruption body working with the mandate to eradicate corruption from society and recover looted money from corrupt elements and to submit the same into National kitty. As per the directions from worthy Chairman NAB, Justice Javed Iqbal all efforts are on way to bring every Mega Corruption Scandal to its logical end, so, the References may be filed in worthy Accountability Courts.
NAB has also clarified that the Bureau wouldn’t pay heed to any undue pressure, threat and propaganda while discharging its legal and constitutional duties, whereas, no delaying tactics adopted by anyone would be ascertained at all.— PRESS RELEASE
