LAHORE MIRROR — An emergent meeting of the Public Relations Welfare Association (PRWA) founder members was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Dr Syed Nadeem ul Hassan Gillani. The participants showed their grave concern over the failure of the association to achieve the targets already decided in the founding session earlier.
After a detailed discussion, it was unanimously decided to formulate a caretaker executive body with Mustafa Kamal Pasha, former DG TEVTA, as President to re-establish PRWA within six months. modern grounds and achieve pre-determined goals.
According to the Information Secretary of PRWA, Karamat Ali, in a unanimous decision, the esteemed founding members of the Public Relations Welfare Association (PRWA) have established a new council to spearhead the revitalization of the organization. Dr Nadeem-ul Hassan, a distinguished member, has been appointed as the Chairman for a lifetime, ensuring his invaluable expertise will guide the association towards modernization and the advancement of the Public Relations fraternity.
Joining Dr Nadeem-ul Hassan on the council are prominent individuals who bring a wealth of experience and dedication to the table. Athar Awan has been selected as the Senior Vice Chairman, while Kamran Malik assumes the role of Vice Chairman. The council further comprises Mustafa Kamal Pasha as President, Dr Mustafa Kamal as Senior Vice President, Mehar Abdul Rauf as Vice President, Syed Ali Bukhari as Secretary General, Chaudhary Zulfiqar Ali as Deputy Secretary General, Karamat Ali as Information Secretary, Iftikhar Rasul as Secretary of Finance, and Mansha Qazi as Joint Secretary.
This council has been tasked with finalizing key matters related to the reinvigoration of the PRWA on modern foundations. Their primary goal is to ensure the greater welfare and benefit of the Public Relations community. Through their collective expertise and commitment, they aim to elevate the standards and effectiveness of the profession while addressing the evolving needs of the industry.
