LAHORE MIRROR — Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amar Athar has been appointed first female Chief Traffic Officer Lahore.
The officer was earlier serving as AIG Admn and Security at the Central Police Office Punjab. She has replaced Captain (retired) Mustansar Feroze who has been posted in Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA).
Ms Athar was earlier posted first District Police Officer in Punjab in 2018. She was appointed Bahawalnagar DPO. Her father had also served the Police Service of Pakistan as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Punjab Police while her husband Athar Waheed is also DIG in the PSP.
