KP CM Says Nursing Another Name For Selfless Service to Humanity

PESHAWAR– Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan Wednesday congratulated the entire country, especially the nursing community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the occasion of International Nurses’ Day.

In his message in connection with the International Nursing Day, the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that today is the day to highlight the importance of nurses in the society and acknowledge of their valuable services.

Nursing is a respected profession, the Chief Minister said, adding, “Nursing is the backbone of the health system.”

Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan said that Nursing is another name for selfless service to humanity and in the current situation of Corona, the nursing community is rendering valuable services.

He said Nurses like doctors and other medical staff are doing selfless service to save the lives of Corona patients.

The Chief Minister KP said that the provincial government values the services and sacrifices of nurses. “On this day, I salute the nurses for their passion for service,” Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said, adding, “The provincial government will continue to take steps for the welfare of nurses.”
