LAHORE MRROR– The federal government has placed the services of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Ayyaz Saleem at the disposal of the Punjab government, says a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Tuesday.
Mr Saleem, who belongs to the 31st Common of the Civil Service of Pakistan, is most likely to be posted in the Punjab police shortly.
He has served the Punjab police and the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) in the past. The SSP’s posting profile includes SSP/Sector Commander NH&MP, SSP Administration, Capital City Police Lahore, District Police Officer Nankana Sahib, DPO Attock, SSP Investigation, Lahore police, DPO Khanewal, DPO Sahiwal, and SP(Operations) Model Town, CCP Lahore.
Mr Saleem is considered a well-reputed and an upright police officer not only in the bureaucratic circles, but also in the political circles. He is known for introducing new anti-crime policing measures and taking police welfare steps during his field postings.
The officer is going to join the Senior Management Course (SMC) next month for promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in BS-20.
