Every Person Should Play His Role For Betterment And Welfare Of Society During This Pandemic: Najam Shah

KARACHI– A special prayer ceremony was organized at Sindh Local Government Department under the chairmanship of Sindh Local Government Secretary Engineer Syed Najam Ahmad Shah in which prayers were organized for Pakistan, peace and stability, and eradication of the Corona epidemic. Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Local Government Sindh Syed Najam Ahmad Shah said that the present situation demands that every person should prove his individual responsibility and play his role for the betterment and welfare of the society and perform his duties with utmost honesty. According to the Sindh Local Government Secretary, the officers and all staff of the Sindh Local Government Department should make public service and welfare their motto and avoid any kind of slackness or negligence in the official duties.

Talking on the telephone line, Secretary Local Government Syed Najam Ahmad Shah said that a special team has been formed for executing and speeding all the mega projects of Sindh Local Government Department and its progress is being regularly evaluated and monitored. According to Najam Ahmad Shah, efforts are being made under the mission of implementing the development works up to the level of Union Councils located in all the districts of Sindh and soon positive changes will be seen in the whole of Sindh including Karachi.

Najam Ahmad Shah expressed confidence that all necessary steps and preparations would be completed before this year’s rains so that the people would not face any inconvenience during the monsoon season.
