Dr Asif Bashir Takes the Helm as Executive Director of PINS
LAHORE MIRROR – A renowned neurosurgeon Prof. Dr. Asif Bashir officially took on his role as the Executive Director of the Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences (PINS) on Monday.
He was warmly welcomed by the senior professors, doctors, nurses, President Health Support Staff Association Rana Pervaiz a large number of employees. A farewell was also arranged in honor of Dr Khalid Bin Aslam.
He made the announcement in his maiden speech to establish the establishment of a daycare center at the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences.
Addressing the welcoming ceremony, Prof. Asif Bashir said in his opening remarks that no task can be completed properly without teamwork and no success is possible as well.
He added that there is a greater need to adhere to these principles for the sake of proper treatment of the patients.
Dr Bashir added that for the smooth running of any system, along with regular feedback, monitoring of treatment procedures is also indispensable as it will not only resolve the complaints of the patients but also ensure proper activities and services of health professionals.
He assured that he is convinced that the abilities of each person can be utilized so he will get the benefit of everyone and take him along.
However, in the treatment of patients, no kind of failure is admissible so the principle of reward and punishment on performance will be followed strictly, and new ED PINS added.
Executive Director “PINS” while paying great tribute to the administrative services of MS Dr Khalid bin Aslam said that he was a very capable administrator, he took revolutionary steps for better treatment of patients and the welfare of the employees in the Institution.
He thanked all the faculty members, administrative doctors, and staff members on this occasion.
He said that all the employees have cooperated fully during the placement and he is leaving with good memories.
Aslam further said that for the development of PINS, all the employees must continue to work with utmost duty and professional dedication to ensure the proper care of the patients.
