LAHORE MIRROR – In a significant development from Attock Jail, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has declined to be transferred to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

The Official Secrets Act Special Court, presided over by Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain, convened to hear the cipher case within Attock Jail.

Despite the passage of time, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had not submitted the challan, prompting the court to adjourn the hearing and instruct the FIA to expedite the submission of the challan.

The court extended the judicial remand of Chairman PTI until October 10.

According to sources, Chairman PTI made a statement before the court, expressing his preference to remain in Attock Jail, stating that he has adjusted to the conditions there.

Imran Khan further stated that he intends to instruct his lawyers to withdraw the request for his transfer to Adiala Jail.

It is noteworthy that the Islamabad High Court had previously ordered the transfer of the PTI Chairman from Attock to Adiala Jail.
