LAHORE– The auctioning of levy fee collection from the cattle markets in three divisions of Punjab have fetched historic Rs1.71 billion to the provincial kitty.
Kausar Khan, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company (PCMMDC), told Lahore Mirror that the auction was performed in 32 cattle markets of Lahore, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions on Monday.
“Against total reserved price of Rs680 million the bidding generated over Rs1.71 billion that is 200 per cent increase.”
Today we have auctioned the collection of levy fees in the Cattle markets all over Punjab. We have taken the bids to new heights. So far we have received bids of 1 billion 78 crore app.for reserve price of 68 crore. An increase of 200%. Congratulations to my team and LG dept 👍🏻👌🏻

Ms Khan termed the bids highest-ever in the history of cattle markets, saying Lahore’s Shahpur Kanjran market generated bid worth Rs800.

The CEO PCMMDC said the entire auction process was a transparent exercise. She congratulated her team for achieving milestone.
