LAHORE MIRROR – India’s ruling party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has criticized the Congress party in light of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, ‘Jawan.’
According to reports in the Indian media, the BJP claims that the film ‘Jawan’ exposes the corruption and ineffective policies of the Congress during its ten-year rule.
Sharing the film’s poster, Gaurav Bhatia, a federal spokesperson for the BJP, expressed gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan for shedding light on the corruption and flawed policies of the Congress government from 2004 to 2014 through the movie ‘Jawan.’
He argued that the film serves as a reminder of the troubled political past during the Congress-led coalition government and asserted that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has maintained a clean record.
The BJP spokesperson cited a dialogue from the film in which Shah Rukh Khan’s character states, “We are young, willing to sacrifice our lives countless times, but only for our country; not for someone who sells out the country.”
The spokesperson added that this dialogue is highly relevant to the Gandhi family.
