Big Decrease in Petrol Price in Pakistan Likely
LAHORE MIRROR — There is a possibility of a big decrease in the price of petrol across Pakistan.
Petrol is estimated to be Rs 12 per litre cheaper in the country due to the drop in oil prices in the global market. According to industry sources, the price of diesel is also estimated to be reduced by Rs 12 per litre and the price of kerosene by Rs 8.
The final price determination is likely to be based on the global market volatility of September 12-14. On August 31, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reduced the prices of petroleum products.
The price of petrol was reduced by Rs 1.86 per litre, the price of high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs 3.32 while the price of kerosene was reduced by Rs 2.15 per litre, and the price of light diesel oil was reduced by Rs 2.97 per litre.
