Alleged Robber Killed In Crossfire With Faisalabad Police

--Police also arrest nine notorious criminals in three-day operations

FAISALABAD– An alleged robber was killed in crossfire with police in Batala Colony on early Saturday. 

Police said a Dolphin Squad team, during patrolling, intercepted suspected bike riders at Muhammadi Chowk in Batala Colony police jurisdiction around 12am.
The suspects tried to escape, however Dolphin team chased them. The suspects entered a narrow street
and started indiscriminate firing at police party.

Police in response, also fired shots at the suspects. During an exchange of fire, one robber got killed, whereas the other managed to escape.
The firing committed by the suspects also left two passersby wounded and were shifted to a hospital with no life-threatening injuries.
Robber's bike
Police said the deceased robber is being identified. The bike is under police custody of police and legal action is being taken accordingly.

Arrests of scoundrels under Top 10

Faisalabad police have arrested nine notorious goons in the last three days and seized illegal weapons and other looted items from their possession.

The arrests have been made in the light of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to clean Faisalabad district from criminals.
Teams constituted by City Police Officer Captain (retired) Muhammad Sohail Ch secured arrests and booked the suspects under detention orders.
Those who have been arrested are Adil Shoukat  with 12 cases registered against him followed by  Aashir shah (8 cases),  Ashfaq (18 cases), Ameer ali  (51 cases), Asif@ Nikka (11 cases), Riaz (12 cases), Lal Khan  (25 cases), Asad Ali  (10 cases), and Ghulam Mustafa (9 cases).— LAHORE MIRROR
