LAHORE– Administrator General Bus Stand Badami Bagh Ahmad Raza Butt conducted surprise raid on Friday night and impounded six buses operating at illegal stands.
Butt received information from a source that some buses are operating without route permits and reached the general bus stand along with his team.
The administrator checked 34 AC bays and inspected route permits. He also took round on all roads and got six buses impounded for standing illegally.
Another bus was impounded in his presence after the staff was found involved in washing bus on road, causing cleanliness issue.
Ahmad Raza Butt also checked note point at bus entry and ensured transparency in bus turn in bays.
He also checked duty of staff at night and issued them necessary directives.
The administrator further checked fare lists to ensure that at each ticketing point the fare lists has to be raised.— LAHORE MIRROR
