LDA Files Corruption Reference Against Five Employees With Anti-Corruption

LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has filed a reference with the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab against five employees for attempting to illegally transfer a Johar Town plot.

LDA director general Usman Mouzzam following the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan has intensified action against corrupt officials.

Officials identified as Staff Officer Revenue Branch Zulfiqar Ali, Senior Call Centre Operator Ayesha Siddiqa, Data Entry Operator One Window Cell Shahbaz Hassan, Junior Clerk Awais Butt and Work Mason Zahid Ali have been found involved in trying to transfer Plot No 13 measuring one kanal in Block J-3 Johar Town.

The officials will now be facing reference and potential detentions.

DG Usman Mouzzam has made it clear that elimination of corruption and transparency in the administrative and operational matters of LDA would be ensured.— LAHORE MIRROR
