Asif Bilal Directs DCs to Visit Sacrificial Animal Markets For Best Arrangements
LAHORE– Commissioner Lahore Division Asif Bilal Lodhi directed all deputy commissioners (DCs) to visit all sacrificial animal sale markets to ensure withdrawal of expected rain water and security arrangements.
He also directed Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC), livestock department and traffic police to enhance personnel in markets regarding markets, size and importance.
The Commissioner said 36 temporary animals markets were being established in whole Lahore division including 7 of Lahore.
He said that electricity arrangements would done in a manner to avoid even a single incident of electrocution in animal markets.
He said that from January 2019 to 31 July 2019,7 confirmed patients of dengue were appeared in Lahore and two appeared in the month of July.
He said keeping in view the increased numbers of animals, the area of market must be enhanced to bring comfort for sellers,purchasers and animals.
The Commissioner said anti polio campaign was of prime importance and anti-polio campaign was critical for polio free districts of Lahore.
Lodhi chaired meetings regarding polio,dengue and Eidul Azha arrangements.
