LAHORE MIRROR — A video showing a citizen having his hair cut inside the office of the District Police Officer (DPO) Haripur has gone viral on social media, prompting an inquiry by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief.
According to police officials, the viral footage shows a man having his hair cut and styled inside the DPO’s office. The man seen in the video is a YouTuber who had expressed a desire to have his hair styled by the DPO Haripur before recording the video.
Police officials said that, at the YouTuber’s request, a barber was called to the DPO’s office and began cutting his hair. However, the DPO Haripur was not present in the office when the video was recorded.
Following the circulation of the video on social media, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed took notice of the incident and directed the Hazara Regional Police Officer to conduct a thorough inquiry and submit a report.
