

LAHORE MIRROR — Police have arrested former National Assembly member, former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab president and ex-minister Hammad Azhar.
According to police sources, Azhar was arrested in Multan and subsequently handed over to Lahore Police.
The sources said Hammad Azhar was wanted in several cases registered in connection with the May 9, 2023 incidents.
Police sources said Azhar had been declared a proclaimed offender since May 9, 2023. He briefly resurfaced following the death of his father but went into hiding again afterwards.
