LAHORE MIRROR: Hira Qaiser has been crowned the winner of Pakistan Idol Sooper Star after a spectacular grand finale that brought together some of the country’s biggest names in music.
Shahzain Munir, Executive Director of English Biscuit Manufacturers (EBM), presented the trophy to Qaiser at the finale, marking the conclusion of a nationwide search for emerging musical talent.
The Sooper Finale featured a surprise performance by Atif Aslam, who returned to the stage after 18 years with his new album Subah Aye Na. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also made an impromptu appearance, adding to the memorable evening.
The finale marked the first time Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed and appeared together on the same national television stage.
Atif Aslam joined the show as the SOOPER Icon and guest judge, alongside permanent judges Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fawad Khan, Bilal Maqsood and Zeb Bangash. Host Shafaat Ali led the show throughout the season.
The season showcased singers from across Pakistan, offering contestants mentorship, professional guidance and exposure to a nationwide audience.
The internationally acclaimed Idol franchise, which originated in 2001 and has been adapted in more than 50 markets, continued its tradition of discovering new musical talent through Pakistan Idol.
The grand finale celebrated Pakistan’s rich musical heritage while highlighting a new generation of artists poised to make their mark on the country’s music industry.
