Fraz Nizam Bags Governing Body Seat in Crimes Reporters Association Elections
LAHORE MIRROR — The annual elections of the Crime Reporters Association were held, with the results declaring Ali Sahi as the president by a margin of just one vote, while Hammad Aslam, a senior reporter of Nai Baat Media Network, was elected as the senior vice president.
The newly elected officials expressed their commitment to working collectively with all crime reporters.
The elections took place at the Lahore Press Club, where crime reporters from various media houses based in Lahore participated in the voting.
The contest for the president’s position was highly competitive, with Ali Sahi narrowly defeating his opponent Ahmed Faraz by one vote.
Ahmer Khokhar secured the vice president’s position, while Mujahid Sheikh was elected as the secretary. Umar Yaqoob won the seat for finance secretary, and Sarfraz Khan was successful in the race for joint secretary.
The governing body of the Crime Reporters Association now includes Hasan Khalid, Faraz Nizam, Khurram Malik, Mirza Ramzan Baig, and Ali Chaudhry.
