Fahad Shahbaz Departs for Jeddah to Represent Pakistan at OIC Youth Summit
ISLAMABAD (LAHORE MIRROR) — Mr Fahad Shahbaz, Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Punjab, has departed for Jeddah to participate in the highly anticipated OIC Youth Summit.
Scheduled to commence on November 29, 2024, the summit will bring together youth delegates, policymakers, and officials from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Representing Pakistan, Mr Shahbaz will engage in discussions aimed at empowering youth across the Islamic world and fostering cross-border collaborations. The summit will serve as a platform to address pressing challenges faced by young people while exploring innovative strategies to enhance youth development, education, and employment opportunities.
Speaking ahead of the summit, Mr Shahbaz emphasized, “Pakistan is committed to nurturing its youth and strengthening their role in global development. This summit is a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and build partnerships for a brighter future for our youth.”
