Govt Appoints Ambassador Amna Baloch Foreign Secretary
LAHORE MIRROR — Amna Baloch, a Grade-22 officer of the Foreign Service of Pakistan, has been appointed as foreign secretary of Pakistan and will take charge of her office on September 11.
Baloch is currently serving as Pakistan’s Ambassador to European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg.
The current Foreign Secretary Muhammad Cyrus Sajjad Qazi is retiring on September 10. Cyrus Sajjad has been appointed as a member of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), according to The News.
