Mehmooda Saleem Welfare Foundation Organizes Free Medical Camp

LAHORE MIRROR – The Mehmooda Saleem Welfare Foundation (MSWF) extended its commitment to community health by hosting a free medical camp in Engineer Town on Friday.

A mobile hospital, established by the foundation, served approximately 150 patients afflicted with various illnesses, offering comprehensive medical care at no cost.

The event, held within the Engineer Town premises, catered not only to the immediate residents but also reached out to the surrounding local community, ensuring access to quality healthcare for all in need. Patients received treatment, consultations, and necessary medications, contributing to the foundation’s ongoing mission of fostering a healthier society.

The foundation also hosted a blood donation camp to understand the critical need for blood in the treatment of thalassemia and cancer patients. The foundation rallied the local community, resulting in an impressive donation of 36 pints of blood. This act of generosity and solidarity exemplifies the collective commitment to aiding those in medical need.

Speaking at the occasion, Chairperson MSWF, Ms Fouzia Ameer, stated that the Foundation is dedicated to making healthcare accessible to everyone, irrespective of their financial constraints. This medical camp is a testament to our commitment to community welfare and well-being,” added Fozia.
