Nora Fatehi Denies Rumours Of Her Item Number In Pakistani Film ‘Superstar’
LAHORE MIRROR (Monitoring Report)– Nora of Dilbar Dilbar fame confirmed that she will not be making her way to Pakistan for an item song in the upcoming film and that she has never been part of Superstar nor signed any contract either.
Previously, rumours regarding Canadian dancer Nora Fatehi being roped in for Mahira Khan’s Superstar took social media by storm. But now, the latest buzz is that this was never the case, reported DNA India.
Denying all the rumours, Nora said in a statement, “I don’t know where these rumours came from. I am not doing a dance number in Superstar and have not signed any Pakistani film. In fact, even I was surprised to read this news. Let me make it clear to everyone: It’s not true. I am focusing on my acting career and not doing item songs at the moment.”
The 27-year-old starlet garnered prominence after dancing to the reworked version of Sushmita Sen’s item number from the 1999 film Sirf Tum. Nora is also starring in the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Bharat.
Superstar will be helmed by actor-director Mohammad Ehteshamuddin. He is known for shows such as Udaari, which featured Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Ahsan Khan and Aangan, starring Ahsan, Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir and Mawra Hocane.
