PRA Issues Fresh Alert for ST Returns Submission Before June 30 to Avoid Fines
LAHORE MIRROR — The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has warned all the taxpayers to pay sales tax and submit their returns before June 30, 2023.
A PRA spokesman said both fines and surcharge would be applied in case clients failed to meet the deadline.
The PRA — who collects and enforces Sales Tax on Services — has to achieve Rs190 billion for the fiscal year 2022-23.
In 2021-22, the authority had managed over Rs170bn in revenue collection, exceeding the target of Rs155bn.
