PLRA Organises Departmental Exam For Promotion of Service Center Officials

LAHORE MIRROR — Punjab Land Records Authority organized A Departmental examination for promotion of service center Officials. 

PLRA organized A departmental promotion Exam for Service Center Officials under Punjab Land Records Authority (Appointment and Conditions of Services) Regulation 2020.

The service structure and promotion procedure for the staff has been already been formulated under the PLRA Service Regulations. Eligible candidates will have to go through a competitive process for promotion. Merit of the candidates will be sorted by combining the academic qualifications, marks obtained in the examination and annual performance report.
While getting at least 50% marks in the departmental exam has been declared mandatory. Successful candidates will be eligible for promotion after departmental interview.

In this regard, the departmental examination of SCOs was conducted in the first phase. Approximately 600 candidates appeared in the Exam. The exam comprises of two papers covering Revenue Laws and IT Exam.

The Exam was held under the supervision of Additional Director General Admin Shahid Farid, Additional Director General Technical Zahid Sohail, Director HR & Admin Bushra Naseer Director Monitoring Sonia Sadaf, Director IT Osama Bin Saeed.

During the second phase, other officers including Land Record Officers, Assistant Director Land Records, Service Center Incharges and Assistant Service Center Inchrages will also have to go through the same competitive process for departmental promotion.

Director General Punjab Land Records Authority Saira Omer said that merit and transparency will be ensured in all procedures.
