493 Foreign Players Show Consent to Play PSL 8th Edition

LAHORE MIRROR– As many 493 foreign players have expressed their willingness to play for the 8th edition of Pakistan Super League, while the process of trade and retention of players for the eighth edition has also been completed.
During the trade and retention process, Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam has become a part of Peshawar Zalmi, while former national cricket team captain Shoaib Malik and Haider Ali have moved from Peshawar Zalmi to Karachi Kings.
On the other hand, the PSL administration says that 493 foreign players have expressed their willingness to draft for the 8yh season. According to the PSL administration, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, South Africa’s David Mills, England’s David Mallan, Afghanistan’s Mujibur Rehman, Sri Lanka’s Vinandu Hasaranga, England’s Alex Hales, Australia’s Aaron Finch and New Zealand’s Jimmy Neesham are also included in Draft.
Team that helped Pakistan reach the semi-finals in the T20 World Cup 2022 , 15 players from the Netherlands will also be present for the PSL draft.
Apart from this, 10 players from Scotland, 25 from United Arab Emirates and 10 from Canada have also shown interest in playing PSL. 14 players from Australia , 28 from Bangladesh,139 from England, 9 from Ireland, 6 from New Zealand, 25 from South Africa, 60 from Sri Lanka, 38 from West Indies and 11 from Zimbabwe will also be present in Draft of Psl 8th Edition.
The pick order of the players’ draft for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League had already been finalized, the first pick will be the defending champions Lahore Qalandars, the second pick will be Quetta Gladiators and the third pick will be Multan Sultans. Then Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and the last pick will be Peshawar Zalmi.
The eighth season of Pakistan Super League will be played from 15 February 2023 to 31 March 2023. Lahore Qalandars will defend the title under the captaincy of Shaheen Shah Afridi.
