LWMC Kicks Off Weekly Special Cleanliness Drive For Jamia Mosques

LAHORE– The Lahore Waste Management Company has started a weekly special cleanliness drive for Jamia Mosques of the cities on Friday.
In this connection, Chief Executive Officer LWMC Rafia Haider paid a surprise visit to Badshahi Mosque and Walled City to check existing cleanliness arrangements practices. She directed concerned officers to start a weekly special cleanliness drive for Jamia Mosques including religious places.
She added that all necessary arrangements must be completed at mosques before Juma Prayer as well as adjacent areas of the mosques. New containers are being placed around the corner and in public places. In case of need of additional workers, machinery, and other resources for religious places, the provision will be ensured. Citizens may register their complaints on the 1139 helpline, social media, or the Clean Lahore mobile application.
