LAHORE– The University of Health Sciences (UHS ) on Friday declared the results of the BDS Second Professional Annual Examinations 2020.
According to the notification, 886 candidates from 17 dental colleges appeared for the examination out of which 720 passed while 159 failed. The success rate remained 81.91 per cent. Last year, the pass percentage in the same exam was 77.86 per cent.
Girls bagged all three positions in the exam. Mahnoor Kashif of Multan Medical and Dental College Multan stood first with 876/1000 marks, Maha Saqib of Fatima Memorial College of Medicine and Dentistry Lahore came second with 871 and Sadia Zafar of Multan Medical and Dental College secured the third position with 866 marks.

Supplementary examinations will begin on May 25.
According to the spokesperson of UHS, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Javed Akram has congratulated the successful students. He said that despite the pandemic, the students worked very hard. He also commended the staff of the UHS Examinations Department for conducting the examinations in a transparent manner and timely release of results.
