Today’s Youngsters Need Encouragement, Not Reprimands

Today’s children and youngsters need praise and motivation to move forward in life and make achievements. I would say this isn’t the case today, but this is the case from the beginning of life and it is also part of human nature.
When you do a good job and someone else praises you, you get happy. Likewise, when someone else does something good, he/she needs your encouragement. People who find life-motivating people around are very fortunate. This can include some of your most sincere friends, family and teachers as well.
But many people also face this stage in life when people criticise them and discourage them. Even if a teacher is teaching his/her pupil something, it isn’t his right to dishonour the learner.
Let me tell you one of my own experience. When I went to the sewing centre to learn a sewing course, my teacher used to scold me in front of everyone and I used to feel shame.
It is natural that whenever a person goes to learn something new, he/she definitely makes mistakes and not once but ten times or more. In life, there are some teachers whose mood is irritating. She (my trainer) was also one of them. She had irritability in her mood, and she would mostly spoke in rage or anger.
Comment
A good teacher never scolds his/her students for mistakes because he/she knows the psychology that whenever a person learns something, he/she must make mistakes as without mistakes, people would never learn. So instead of humiliating student in front of everyone, the teacher should be able to explain to the student with affection.
If the teacher is irritable, he/she cannot teach a child well and then the child could not learn so well and this is not a teacher’s success, but a failure۔
A good teacher is one who teaches a child with love and this is not just for teachers but for all those people who are seniors and there must be so much compassion and love in their tone so when juniors want to ask some questions to them, they don’t feel afraid  of them.
There are very few such people who make it easier for their juniors and give them a good guidance, but there are many people who create problems for their juniors and don’t even guide them properly.
We should not offend anyone in public because no one should be disrespected in the learning process. I pray that may Allah Almighty provide ease for all of us and give us the privilege of making things easy for others.
