Inspector General of Punjab Police Shoaib Dastgir appreciated the working of Faisalabad police during video-link conference of field police officers on Friday.
Faisalabad police got the provincial police chief’s backing on three accounts. It was acknowledged that police encounters with the criminals remained highest in Faisalabad ac compared to other districts in terms of crime control.
Faisalabad police also registered maximum cases against notorious criminals across the province. Similarly police action against gamblers, narcotics peddlers and top 10 scoundrels also topped the chart.
City Police Officer Captain (retired) Muhammad Sohail Ch talking to Lahore Mirror said he is not going to spare any desperate or hardened criminal in his district as his foremost objective is to prevent crimes in all categories.
DIG Sohail Ch said he was focusing both on prevention and detection of cases by holding regular public interaction and policemen accountable for their criminal negligence.— LAHORE MIRROR
