Faisalabad Police Undertakes Pilot Project To Repair Out Of Order Vehicles

FAISALABAD – In the light of directions passed by the Inspector General of Punjab Police, Faisalabad police have undertaken a pilot project to repair totally off-road and out of order vehicles of  the Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP).
In this regard, Faisalabad police have already repaired these out of order vehicles and modified them from one cabin vehicle into elite and police station style vehicles.
The vehicles have also been equipped with almost all new parts.
On average, a complete repair of a single vehicle is around Rs375,000, while the estimated life of vehicles is 5-7 years if used carefully.
In this was, Faisalabad Police Department has aimed to repair and modify approximately 14 in the price of one brand new vehicle.
The pilot project is scheduled to be displayed today (Thursday) for the inspection of the IGP Punjab.— LAHORE MIRROR
