Ahmad Raza Leads Full-Scale Enforcement At Badami Bagh Lorry Adda

--Administrator holds meeting with transporters to ensure writ of the government

LAHORE– The campaign against illegal stands and parking points at the General Bus Stand Badami Bagh entered in fourth day with full-scale enforcement on Monday.

Administrator Ahmad Raza Butt supervised the campaign and later held a meeting with transporters with a written agreement. 

He visited all roads inside lorry adda, checked duty of staff to find them on duty.
BB-cleanliness
Over finding vehicles parked illegally, the administrator got two buses impounded.
Four more buses were impounded after being caught washed on roads and bays, causing cleanliness issues.
Up to six buses were impounded on non-payment of parking fee, while another vehicle was impounded for having no route permit.
Ali Raza Butt later held a meeting with the transporters led by the office-bearers of the All Pakistan Public Transport Owners Federation, wherein detailed discussion was held.
The transporters were convinced that no violations of laws and rules be committed in the premises of lorry adda.

The transporters appreciated strict actions as a result of which all roads were made clear and cleanliness was ensured.

The transporters requested for providing them a last chance and agreed on a written agreement that writ of the government would be respected and full cooperation in this regard would be extended.— LAHORE MIRROR
