ISLAMABAD: 26% of the patients affected by Corona have fully recovered. Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan for Health, said that 26% of the patients affected by Corona in the country have fully recovered.
He said that corona has been diagnosed in 14% of the people kept in quarantine centers and tests have been received in 41 thousand people kept in quarantine centers. The number of corona patients in Pakistan has reached 17,699. He said that training was being imparted to doctors of four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit . Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, said that the Ministry of Health had not questioned the performance of the National Disaster Management Authority and the media should refrain from airing irresponsible news. He clarified that there was no such thing in the post which was aired by the concerned news channel on the Ministry of Health. Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, said that those areas where the chances of spreading the virus were relatively low were gradually being released. He said that if SOPs were not strictly implemented in the concerned sectors, the potential benefits would not be reaped. Dr Zafar Mirza said that on the one hand they want to stop the spread of the disease and on the other hand they want to see the recovery of the economy.
In the last 24 hours, 7,971 tests were performed, in which 622 more people tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 17,439. Similarly, 6 more patients died in the last 24 hours.
