LAHORE MIRROR — Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will increase its weekly flights to London from four to seven from October 27, the airline announced on Wednesday, citing rising passenger demand.
Under the revised schedule, five flights will operate from Islamabad and two from Lahore to London.
PIA said the increase reflected growing passenger confidence and demand for direct services.
The expansion follows the gradual resumption of PIA’s UK operations after a nearly five-year suspension. The European Union lifted its ban on the airline in November 2024, while the UK removed Pakistan from its Air Safety List in July 2025, allowing Pakistani carriers to seek approval to operate in Britain.
PIA resumed direct UK services in September 2025, with Manchester as its first destination, followed by the resumption of direct London flights in March.
