Pakistani citizens can now use the eVisa system to travel to the United Kingdom.
In its statement, the British High Commission in Pakistan said that the requirement for a visa sticker on passports for tourism, business, and family visits has been abolished.
According to the High Commission, visa applications will continue to be submitted online, and applicants will still need to visit a visa center for biometrics. Successful applicants will receive digital confirmation of their immigration status via email.
The statement further said that after completing biometrics, there will be no need to return to the visa center to collect the passport. The eVisa system will also reduce the risk of documents being lost or damaged.
