The US President said that Iran was a threat; every country realized how big a threat Iran was. It was very necessary to eliminate the nuclear threat from Iran. We are not yet ready to leave the region; however, we will leave there very soon.
He further said that we do not need any help, but NATO is making a foolish mistake. We do not need NATO, but they should have been present in the region.
Journalists asked President Trump about the resignation of US National Counterterrorism Director Joe Kent.
In response, Trump said that he had read Joe Kent’s statement. I always thought he was a good man. I had always believed that Joe Kent was weak on security matters. When I read his statement, I realized that it was good that he has left.
