Colombo: In the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan defeated Namibia by 102 runs to qualify for the Super 8 stage.
Playing in Colombo, national team captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and decided to bat first.
Thanks to a century by Sahibzada Farhan, Pakistan set a target of 200 runs for Namibia.
Chasing the 200-run target, Namibia were bowled out for 97 runs.
Two changes were made to Pakistan’s team for the match against Namibia, as Shaheen Afridi and Abrar Ahmed were replaced by Mirza Salman and Khawaja Nafay.

Pakistan scored 199 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan remained unbeaten on 100, while Shadab Khan also played an innings of 36 runs.
For Namibia, Jan Frylinck took 2 wickets, while Gerhard Erasmus claimed one.

In pursuit of Pakistan’s 200-run target, Namibia’s batting lineup proved fragile, and the entire team was bowled out for 97 runs in the 18th over.
For Namibia, Steenkamp scored 23 runs and Alexander made 20.
For Pakistan, Shadab Khan took 3 wickets for 19 runs, while Usman Tariq dismissed 4 players conceding 16 runs.
With this victory, Pakistan qualified for the Super 8 stage from Group A alongside the India national cricket team.
