Doha: Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said that Israel has crossed all limits in crimes against humanity, and the agenda of Greater Israel is a serious threat to global peace.
The Arab Islamic Emergency Summit held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, is attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and leaders from several other countries.
In his speech at the summit, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said he welcomes the leaders of Islamic countries on their arrival in Doha.
He said that Palestinians are being subjected to genocide at the hands of Israel, Israel has crossed all limits in crimes against humanity, Israel’s attack in Doha was a major aggression, and Israel violated Qatar’s sovereignty and regional integrity.
He said that Qatar made sincere efforts as a mediator for peace in the region, but Israel sabotaged the negotiation process by targeting the leadership of Hamas. All Israeli claims regarding the peaceful release of hostages are false, and the agenda of Greater Israel is a severe threat to global peace.
The Emir of Qatar further said that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians, the Zionist government has committed crimes against humanity, and Israel’s serious violations of international laws are a matter of serious concern.
No leniency can be shown to Zionist government over open aggression and crimes: Turkish President
In his speech at the Arab Islamic Emergency Summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey expresses complete solidarity with Qatar. Israel’s expansionist ambitions are a serious threat to the Middle East and global peace, and the ongoing genocide of innocent Palestinians in Gaza continues.
He said that Israel’s increasing attacks have put regional security at risk. If Israel’s stubbornness is not stopped, the peace of Gaza and the whole world will be destroyed. The expression of solidarity with Qatar by Muslim countries is commendable.
The Turkish President said that Israel believes no one can question it, and no leniency can be shown to the Zionist government over open aggression and crimes. Israel’s aggression has reached even Qatar, which is playing the role of mediator.
He further said that he hopes a clear message will be sent to the whole world at today’s summit, and that Netanyahu is pursuing genocide against Palestinians and spreading chaos in the region.
