Islamabad- For Pakistani citizens, the Australian High Commission in Pakistan has made visa services easier, and now applying for a visa in Pakistan has become even simpler.
According to details, an app has been introduced in Pakistan, and after this, the process of obtaining an Australian visa has become much easier because this app is now operational in Pakistan as well.
According to the embassy spokesperson, eligible people in Pakistan can use this free app to send their passport information and face photo (biometrics) directly from their mobile, and they no longer need to visit a biometric center. The only condition is that they must have previously provided their biometrics (face photo and fingerprints) to the Australian authorities and have a valid passport.
Timothy Kane, the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, said that this app saves a lot of time and money for people in Pakistan. People can comfortably send their details from their phone, whether they are traveling, studying, or going for work.
The app was created in 2024, and thousands of people in the Asia-Pacific region have already used it to complete their visa process quickly and easily. Now, this app is operational in 34 countries, and new countries in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Europe will also be included.
The High Commissioner further stated that we advise all eligible people in Pakistan to use this app. It is very easy, secure, and fast, making getting an Australian visa much simpler. All these efforts are being made to modernize and simplify the visa process for people worldwide.
The plan is to have this app fully operational globally by the beginning of 2026.
