In Islamabad’s G-11 district court area, a suicide blast claimed by India-backed and Afghan Taliban-supported proxy group “Fitna-tul-Khawarij” killed 12 people and injured several others.
At least 7 of the injured are said to be in critical condition, including four police personnel.

Upon receiving information, police and law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area and shifted the injured to PIMS Hospital.
Inspector General Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi and Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa, along with other senior police officers, reached the spot with heavy contingents. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited the site and stated that “If Afghanistan’s miscreants are not stopped, we will have no choice but to deal with them ourselves.”

At around 12:45 PM on Tuesday, the suicide bomber detonated himself near the main gate of the G-11 district court, targeting an Islamabad Police patrol vehicle.
At the time, lawyers and citizens attending court proceedings were coming and going, while two police vehicles were stationed for security duty. The bomber targeted one of these vehicles, in which four police officers were seated. Many passersby, lawyers, and visitors were also affected by the blast.

According to sources, identification of the deceased and injured is ongoing. Forensic experts from police and law enforcement have collected human remains and other evidence from the scene, and further investigations are underway.

PIMS Hospital spokesperson Dr. Mubashir Daha stated that 36 injured people were brought to the hospital. 18 were discharged after medical aid, while 12 were martyred. 14 injured are out of danger and have been shifted to wards.
He added that 4 are in critical condition, and the identities of 10 martyrs have been confirmed, while 2 remain unidentified.

“We know what Afghanistan is doing; if terrorists are not stopped, we will act,” Interior Minister’s warning
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, after visiting the site, told the media: “We have provided evidence to Afghanistan showing how people train there and then carry out attacks here. If Afghanistan fails to stop these miscreants, we will have no choice but to take matters into our own hands.”

He added that “today at 12:39 PM, a suicide attack occurred — 12 people martyred, 27 injured. The Prime Minister has directed immediate medical care for the wounded.”
“The attacker planned to enter the court complex but, failing to get the opportunity, targeted the police vehicle instead. Our first priority is to identify the bomber.”

He said, “Yesterday in Wana, another suicide bomber detonated at an entry checkpoint. Clearance of that area is still ongoing. Afghanistan is involved in that attack too — communication traces lead back there. We will expose all those behind the court attack as well.”

Naqvi further said, “We know what Afghanistan is up to, but we will not compromise on security. Those responsible for the court attack will pay the price. The culprits will be exposed.”
“We have visited Afghanistan and given them proof of how people are being trained there before launching attacks. If Afghanistan fails to stop these miscreants, we will take necessary action.”

Rawalpindi District Bar Association announces full strike on November 12
President of the District Bar Association said: “We strongly condemn the blast and demand action against those responsible for the attack and for security negligence. We share the grief of the martyrs and the injured. Tomorrow (Wednesday) there will be a full court boycott.”

President, Prime Minister, and political leaders condemn attack
The President, Prime Minister, Defence Minister, Interior Minister, and other political leaders condemned the explosion.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by “Fitna-tul-Khawarij” and “Fitna-ul-Hindustan,” backed by India, outside Islamabad’s G-11 court.
He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and patience for their families.

In a statement, the Prime Minister said: “The entire nation stands with the families of the martyrs. I have instructed that the injured receive the best possible medical treatment.”
He added, “Indian terrorist proxies targeting innocent Pakistani citizens is deplorable. I have ordered a full investigation — the perpetrators will be brought to justice.”

The Prime Minister said that the attacks in both Islamabad and Wana were carried out by India-backed proxies operating from Afghan soil.
“These cowardly actions cannot shake our resolve against terrorism. India must stop its nefarious acts of spreading terrorism in the region through proxies. The world must condemn India’s sinister designs. India’s horrific face of state-sponsored terrorism stands fully exposed before the world.”

He concluded, “We will not let the blood of innocent Pakistanis go in vain. Our war against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist from Fitna-ul-Hindustan and Fitna-tul-Khawarij is eliminated.”
