LAHORE MIRROR — Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has said that “the recent Israeli aggression is an attempt to sabotage the Gaza negotiation process.”
In the opening speech of the preparatory meeting of foreign ministers at the Islamic Arab summit held in Doha on Sunday, the Qatari Prime Minister said, “The increasing international violations by Israel have practically manifested in the form of a brutal attack on Doha.”
He termed the Doha attack as “state terrorism,” stating that this attack is directly targeting mediation.
The Qatari Prime Minister further said, “These cowardly attacks were carried out at a time when Qatar was hosting sensitive discussions on Gaza. He termed the increasing Israeli actions as “brutal aggression” and urged the international community to end the double standards and punish Israel.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani further stated that for complete peace and security in the region, it is necessary that the Palestinian people be granted their legitimate rights.
Despite Israeli tactics, Qatar will continue efforts for a ceasefire in collaboration with Egypt and the United States.
He appreciated the consensus in the Security Council regarding the global condemnation of Israel and support for Qatar, emphasizing that the time has come to end the policy of double standards and stop Israeli aggression, which poses a serious threat to regional and global peace.
