LAHORE MIRROR — Malaysia beat Pakistan in a Group B match of the hockey event at the ongoing Asian Games in Japan. The hockey match was level at 3-3 at the end of the third quarter. Pakistan’s Sufyan Khan scored his fourth goal in the final quarter to give his side a one-goal lead. However, Malaysia scored twice in the final five minutes to beat Pakistan 5-4. All four of Pakistan’s goals were scored by Sufyan Khan. Malaysia currently lead Group B, while Pakistan are second. Pakistan will play their final group-stage match against Oman.

According to sources, terrorists targeted a police check post established as part of anti-smuggling operations and security arrangements for a peace festival. The attackers allegedly parked a loader-rickshaw, commonly known as a Qingqi, near the check post, after which a powerful explosion occurred.
