LAHORE MIRROR — Pakistan were bowled out for 133 in the first innings of the third and final Test against England in Birmingham on Wednesday.
England captain won the toss and elected to field first, with Pakistan opening their innings with Saim Ayub and Azan Owais.
Saim was dismissed without scoring, while Azan once again failed to make an impact, departing for just nine runs.
Abdullah Shafique followed for three after falling to Ollie Robinson, before Jofra Archer dismissed Shan Masood. Pakistan captain Babar Azam managed only seven runs before being sent back to the pavilion.
Saud Shakeel top-scored for Pakistan with 43 runs, while Test debutant Ghazi Ghori was dismissed for four. Mohammad Abbas contributed 21 runs.
England’s Josh Tongue was the pick of the bowlers, claiming four wickets, while Robinson and Archer took three wickets apiece.
Pakistan handed Test debuts to three players in the match, with Ghazi Ghori, Razaullah and Imran Randhawa included in the playing XI.
Saud Shakeel presented Ghazi Ghori with his Test cap, while Mohammad Abbas handed caps to Razaullah and Babar Azam presented one to Imran Randhawa.
England entered the final Test with a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match series, having already secured an unassailable advantage over Pakistan.
