LAHORE MIRROR — The federal government has jacked up the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs0.39 and Rs2.40 per litre, respectively, with effect from August 25.
The Petroleum Division’s notification states the price of petrol, or motor spirit, has been revised upward to Rs341.98 per litre from Rs341.59.
The price of high-speed diesel has been increased to Rs370.69 per litre from Rs368.29.
The new prices will remain in effect until Tuesday, in line with the government’s ongoing practice of adjusting fuel prices based on international oil markets and other cost factors.
