KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Saturday, in line with gains in the international market, with the price of gold per tola reaching Rs482,936 after an increase of Rs5,700 during the day.
According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs4,972 to Rs414,039, .
On Friday, the price of gold per tola had reached Rs477,136 after gaining Rs5,200 during the day.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $57 to reach $4,604 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Furthermore, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs7,379 per tola.
