According to sources, a nine-member constitutional court will be established in place of the constitutional bench in the Supreme Court. It is proposed to increase the upper age limit of Supreme Court and Constitutional Court judges from 68 to 70 years.
According to the draft, in case of a deadlock in the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner, the matter will be referred to the Supreme Judicial Commission.
