LAHORE– A memorandum of understanding WAS signed between the University of Education (UE) and the Lahore Art Council (Alhamra) on Tuesday to promote art and culture.
Vice Chancellor of University of Education Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and Executive Director of Lahore Art Council Mr. Ather Ali Khan signed the MoU on behalf of UE and Lahore Art Council respectively.
According to MoU, both parties will work together for the promotion of art and culture through various activities such as organizing seminars, conferences, drama festival music performances and literary forums.
Both sides further agreed to share their facilities with each other for the promotion of cultural activities.
The University of Education will arrange training for the staff of Lahore Art Council in the field of HR, Accounts, Audit, Information Technology etc.
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha said that universities can play a vital role in the promotion and preservation of culture.
